Nobody Gonna Break Our Stride.
Bad Blogger!
I am officially a bad blogger. I feel like one of those women who drop their friends the moment they get a new boyfriend. But in this case, my "new boyfriend" is actually my new job. In late February, I started working for the Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity, and am loving every minute of it! But it has come to rule my life in ways I never dreamed possible.
I've become one of those annoying people who, when asked how I'm doing, invariably mutter "busy" without pausing to really acknowledge the speaker. This has become more than a job for me - it's a cause and mission that really means something to me personally.
But unfortunately, this unflagging commitment means I have woefully neglected other parts of my life, such as the Blogosphere. Man, there are times when it's all you can do to keep your head above water. And once I left my previous, painfully boring job, I found there was far less time in my pedantic day for online antics.
But I'm back, and I have lots of catching up to do! It's good to be home..
