I love Bart more than butter but I think it's time for a new featured Blogger. NOT ME.... but I like the idea of a Featured Blogger and although none could even possibly be as witty as Bart it's time.

Owning a house is tough work.

It was two years ago last week when we completed the extensive remodel and picked up the keys from the contractor. As I mentioned before was house was built in the 1930's. For those unfamilar with that era of house building theat means I don't have a concrete foundation- instead I have a four foot space between the bottom plate of my house and the ground. It's literally up on stilts. In the winter it's a constant battle between the water and the sump pump.

However I did lose one item of significance- my novel or should I say 203 pages, or 28 chapters, or 67,328 wordsContinue

Books, Books, where are the books?

Author's note: Hello my name is Zoe and I am a bibliopholic.

I'm having a rough reading summer-insert full pout here. This shouldn't be happening. Summer is when all of the good books come out. Summer is when publishers flood the market with lovely little gems of literary goodness. So what in the holy hell is happening? Where are all the good books?

When visiting my dens of inequity as of late (Borders/Barnes and Noble) I am hard pressed to find anything to add to my stack. I usually wa… Continue
