I'm from NC, but joined the Army when I graduated high school. I ended up being in Georgia and getting married (BIG mistake). He was from Chicago and I moved there with him for a while. He wanted to move to the small town I was from to get away from the big city, but I LOVED it there!

I am in the arts--I am an actor and director mainly, but I also have worked in arts education for both theatres and a professional ballet company. My husband has been offered a wonderful job with the new Chicago High School for the Arts, and I'm hoping to explore the theatre scene in the Windy City.

I wish someone had reminded me! Though I probably would have just grumbled and offered to trade lives with them for a year...
But we remember the good stuff and not the bad, so it all evens out in the end.
