Umm, I Don't Recall Inviting You In...

I totally dislike spiders. Totally. Everything about them repels me and makes my skin crawl. The way they move -eerie. They way the look- creepy. The way they invade my personal space - annoying. Me and spiders have a history. A long, arduous history full of screaming, crying and panicking.

On Turning Thirty

I turned thirty years old last Wednesday - and boy, does it feel good.

There is something about turning thirty that is liberating and validating. I am glad to be out of my twenties; don't miss a thing about them. My twenties were uncertain, fickle, and fearful. Most of my twenties was spent trying to establish and assert my identity. I wanted people to be impressed with me and like me.
