I'd have to say the worst thing is my inability to stay up till all hours of the night. I have this crazy impression I got more done back in the day when I was up till 3am... I'm curious what your worst thing is??

For me, it's the 'ma'am effect': I hate being called ma'am by people who are not that much younger than me. I know it's a sign of respect, but sheesh, c'mon! Give a girl a break! :) At a mere 31, I'm nobody's ma'am!
(And yup, late nights are a killer to get over lately! :)
Nj - I TOTALLY agree with you on the ma'am thing...can't stand it..and it seems it happens to be often as I meet with a lot of college students to do career counseling...ugh.
For me, it's having to say it out loud everytime someone asks me how old I am. I can put it out of my mind and pretend I'm still happily living carefree in my twenty's until I have to say it out loud. Then it just makes me feel old and unaccomplished. ~ K
what i hate is how some people think you're over the hill once you hit 30. what the hell is the big deal. we're still young. i also hate the ma'am thing. i look very young so i dont get ma'am a lot but i still find it annoying.
30 tomorrow! Am I still Ok to post my views here lol..???
I think it is the greater need for sleep, not being able to keep up and looking at people in the pubs and clubs and thinking how young they all look! Then thinking I was that....once... :-) xx
