Thirty-Something Bloggers

Nobody Gonna Break Our Stride.

Many of us bloggers don’t think too much about when we’ll retire our blogs. We all know we’ll stop blogging one day, but it’s more of a vague “someday” than an actual end date.

But we can’t keep doing this forever, can we?

I wrote a post about this today, prompted by the idea that the 20 Something Bloggers site doesn't kick out bloggers who turn 30 if they were members prior to that.

How long will you keep blogging? Can you imagine doing it into your 80s?

i've wondered that before, too. will we all be have this online dialogue together when we're 45? 50? it's strange to imagine, but we're the first generation to be posed the possibility.

i don't think i'll be doing it in my 80's. but i do think i'll at least do it 5 more years...

it'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

I've actually thought about this before. Well, not so much about retiring my blog but if something happens to me - what will happen to my blog? Especially if I have been blogging for a really long time like 10 years. I would like to see one of my children take a interest in it and continue blogging for me. Is that possible? Is a blog something you would leave in a will? Is it silly to think about leaving your blog in a will?

I'll blog as long as I find it a fun and fulfilling hobby. So, yeah, I could possibly be blogging in my 80's, if I'm still enjoying the process!

As long as my husband's ex-wife continues to torture us, I'll blog.

It would be fun if I could continue into my 80s

As long as it continues to be therapeutic for me, I'll continue to blog. But then again, I've only posted 3 items on my blog so far.....I'm new at this. :)

I think I'll keep blogging till it stops being fun. I don't want it to be another chore... if it ever becomes that, then it's done. The folks I've reached and the blogging buddies I've made are priceless. So I guess... never. Fingers crossed.:)

by the time I'm in my 80's people will be able to read minds -- no need for blogging. Just tune into anyone's brainwaves and be blown away with confusion.

I have at least two blogs that I post to as often as possible, one for my personal sewing/crafting/quilting/whatever stuff and the other is focused on my online business. I think I'll keep posting until I'm just too incredibly busy to find time. Hopefully that means when I have children someday. At the moment my life is really BORING and yet I think I still find some interesting stuff to post about (if you like crafty stuff). So I think I'll just keep posting...forever! How's that for ambitious!
