we could play outside all day and never get bored because there was just too many different games that you could find to play! Gosh how I miss those days!

...I decided that 27 was Grown Up. Now I'm almost 35 and I don't feel like I've managed it yet. My mirror knows better.

...we still had a black and white tv in the house. With rabbit ears, of course. Cable was not an option yet.

When I was a kid I was so eager to grow up. I just wanted to be free of living in my parents house and now that I'm an adult, sometimes I just want someone else to pay the bills!

....i loved sesame street, the carebears, the smurfs, my little pony and friends, rainbow brite, the superfriends.... i can go on forever, so i guess this is enough. LOL

When I was a kid...
...I played with Legos in the basement for days, often forgetting to take breaks for lunch.
...my neighbor and I ate dry Kool-Aid powder in the fort in my backyard.

My mom wants me to sleep always in the afternoon so I couldn't go out. Now you're always out and catching some sleep.

. . .my friends and I would roll down this little hill after school.
. . .I'd loved riding my red radio flyer tricycle.
. . .I'd looked forward to buying ice cream and candies from the Ice Cream/ Candy Man.
. . .I'd watched countless hours of Transformers, Smurts, He-Man, She-Ra, Thundercats.
. . .having mommy and daddy around to heal all my wounds.

Oh how they were the good ole' days when we were young and carefree. . . why did we have to grow up again?
