we could play outside all day and never get bored because there was just too many different games that you could find to play! Gosh how I miss those days!
When I was a kid I was so eager to grow up. I just wanted to be free of living in my parents house and now that I'm an adult, sometimes I just want someone else to pay the bills!
....i loved sesame street, the carebears, the smurfs, my little pony and friends, rainbow brite, the superfriends.... i can go on forever, so i guess this is enough. LOL
When I was a kid...
...I played with Legos in the basement for days, often forgetting to take breaks for lunch.
...my neighbor and I ate dry Kool-Aid powder in the fort in my backyard.
. . .my friends and I would roll down this little hill after school.
. . .I'd loved riding my red radio flyer tricycle.
. . .I'd looked forward to buying ice cream and candies from the Ice Cream/ Candy Man.
. . .I'd watched countless hours of Transformers, Smurts, He-Man, She-Ra, Thundercats.
. . .having mommy and daddy around to heal all my wounds.
Oh how they were the good ole' days when we were young and carefree. . . why did we have to grow up again?
...the skating rink was the place to be (you weren't cool if you couldn't go).
...Michael Jackson was still black.
...hair bands were the rave.
...all the neighborhood kids knew each other, and played together.
...$1 would get you a bag full of candy at the corner store.
...push button phones were just coming out.
...having a VCR and/or Cable actually meant something
...Mtv only had one channel, and they only played music videos.
...a pack of baseball cards was only $0.50 AND you got a stick of gum with them.
